The beach's prominent location within St Ives Bay provides spectacular views of St Ives one way and Godrevy Lighthouse the other. Redruth town centre is a 3min drive or 20min walk away. Or North to Porthtowan or onwards to Perranporth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Alternatively you can opt for a woodland walk around the nearby Tehidy woods and golf course.\u00a0<\/p><p>Cornwall has many derelict engine houses that form part of the scenery.
